The sound of a Stradivarius for the President of the Italian Republic

Yesterday the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella visited the new campus of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, inaugurated in Cremona, in the former Monastery of Santa Monica, in the year of the university's centenary.

During the ceremony, the President of the Republic and those present at the inauguration also had the privilege of listening to the Italian national anthem played by the violinist Lena Yokoyama with a Stradivarius Vesuvius 1727c, currently part of the Cremona Museum of Violin's collection.

The performance starts after 12.15 minutes.
