Also the Italian newpaper Il Giorno dedicated a comprehensive article about the latest edition of Cremona Musica, confirming its wide media exposure in the Italian and international press.
Cremona, 1 October 2018 - The curtain falls on the 2018 edition of Cremona Musica, the most important fair in the world for high-quality musical instruments, which recorded an increase in visitors compared to last year. During the days of the fair, the corridors of the pavilions were visited by thousands of visitors coming from all over the world, who came to know the best of Cremonese and international violin making. At the end, the budget is 320 exhibitors from all over the world (52% overseas), who have filled the halls with over 5,000 products. The more than 160 events that took place over the three days brought about 400 artists to Cremona.
The Cremona show is confirmed as a mainstay for the market of musical instruments, a growing market, as evidenced by the data of the 2018 Observatory, the report presented today in Cremona Musica, and realized by Dismamusica in collaboration with the Catholic University of Milan and the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona.
The aim of Cremona Musica is not only to celebrate the great musical tradition of the city, but above all to create a meeting point for the whole world of enthusiasts and professionals, from musicians to the media, from instrument producers to buyers, from higher education institutions to students. This creates opportunities for development and helps to grow a sector that is not only a fundamental part of our cultural and artistic heritage, but also produces a turnover of over half a billion euros in Italy alone. Also from this point of view, Cremona Musica has largely achieved its mission.
