Music, sales of wind instruments and acoustic pianos grow

A 550 million euro market. It is the estimate of the Italian music market contained in the 2018 Observatory of Dismamusica, the Association adhering to the Confcommercio System that represents Italian builders, distributors, retailers and music publishers, which was announced in Cremona Musica, the annual fair of musical instruments that took place from 28 to 30 September.
The Cremona appointment is always an important moment both for sellers and for the city: many violin makers in fact prefer to organize events at their shops in the city. An initiative born in frond at the event that takes place at the exhibition center, but which is now an important addition. To give an idea of what Cremona Music is all about, just think that 320 exhibitors took part in the event, 52% of whom came from abroad, exhibiting over 5 thousand products. During the event there were about 160 events with about 400 artists involved.
The "fulcrum" event of the three days in Cremona is undoubtedly Mondomusica, the section dedicated to stringed instruments. A very popular event for foreign visitors and exhibitors. This year the presence of Chinese violinmakers and bow makers was certainly very strong. [...]
